Service Desk Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Consultant to join our team at the University of Minnesota. As a Service Desk Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers, resolving complex issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all users.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise and support to customers via phone, email, chat, and in-person interactions.
- Use technical tools and resources to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Exercise strong decision-making skills and discretion when prioritizing and resolving incidents.
- Continuously build knowledge of new products and services to provide effective advice and guidance to users.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve overall customer experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with multiple operating systems and technical tools.
- Strong customer focus and experience working in a customer-facing role.
