Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating leads and referrals, building relationships within the community, and selling our home accessibility solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities- Meet with clients and their families at pre-scheduled appointments to discuss their accessibility needs and provide personalized solutions.
- Produce referrals to exceed monthly sales quotas for location and territory, ensuring a positive outcome for clients and families.
- Manage and grow territory key accounts or partners, fostering strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- Conduct needs assessments of homes and discuss recommendations with clients to enable safe and effective navigation of activities of daily living.
- Present solutions to clients and customers, demonstrating how our life-changing solutions can be installed into their homes.
- Utilize Lifeway tools and measurement protocols to determine feasibility of our products and provide accurate estimates and proposals.
- Handle objections and assist in purchase options, financing, and rental options, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Complete documentation for new clients and work with operations teams to ensure all necessary paperwork is in place for installation.
- Respond to client questions and concerns, assess client needs, status, and tolerance issues, and provide recommendations as needed.
- Determine eligibility for any assistance programs and perform other duties as assigned.
- Candidate should have between 3-5 years of sales experience, with some healthcare and/or residential equipment sales preferred.
- Experience in both B2B and B2C sales, including in-home sales, is highly desirable.
- Established community relationships, connections, and referrals are essential.
- Proven excellent people and relationship skills, including referral sources, patients, family members, and the general public.
- Strong ability to present and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work well independently and in groups, with a high level of enthusiasm, motivation, and self-starter qualities.
- Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with local and federal regulations are required.
- Post-secondary school degree is preferred, and the ability to work in ERP and other company software systems is necessary.
- Maintaining company and employee confidentiality, as well as professional boundaries, is essential.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations, with excellent time management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Attention to detail and excellent organization and communication skills are required.
