Job Summary

ManTech is seeking a highly skilled Senior Configuration Manager to join our team in the DMV area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the consistency of a system's functional, performance, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of nine (9) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related scientific or technical discipline. Experience with Configuration Change Board (CCB) and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) processes is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain the configuration baseline, which is a set of approved and controlled versions of project or system components serving as the reference point for further development, testing, and deployment.
  • Identify, baseline, maintain, and control changes with Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Notice of Revisions (NOR) for selected components of a complete system, subsystem, service, or product.
  • Supervise and mentor subordinate project staff, receiving direction from the Cyber Operations Lead.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Experience with industry-standard or DoD-directed CM tools such as Git or Subversion and experience with team tools such as Jira, Confluence.

Clearance Requirements:

The selected candidate must have an active Top Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers.
