Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Visual Merchandiser to join our team at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. As a key member of our Merchandise Operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, executing cycle counts, and monitoring product quantities to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels across all merchandise locations.
  • Collaborate with the Merchandise Admin and location teams to execute accurate in-park and warehouse cycle counts.
  • Monitor product quantities to prevent out-of-stock issues and ensure timely product release or replenishment.
  • Run weekly reporting on sales information and alert managers and park support of any active products with low remaining stock.
  • Work with the Park Support team to order locally sourced items and track new product arrivals and re-orders.
  • Ensure all product pricing is correct and work with the local Warehouse team for any re-pricing needs.
  • Responsible for running the Merchandise Department's Annual Physical Inventory.
  • Assist other departments with product needs, such as items for giveaways, incentives, and guest recovery.
  • Responsible for all End of Month reporting and yearly IM&R.
  • Assist the Admin team with Mail Order guests and transactions.
  • Assist in all Pin Trading preparations and refreshes.
  • Monitor all Name Programs and work with Park Support to place timely re-orders.
  • Assist the Merchandise Leadership team in all department supervisory capacities.
  • Oversee the performance of all department team members and leadership while on duty.
  • Manage daily department labor to accommodate changing business needs.
  • Resolve all Guest Service matters for the department in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide exemplary service and ensure Merchandise Standards are met consistently.
  • Responsible for the training and counseling of team members, assistant supervisors, and supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance of Labor Laws with regards to breaks and hours worked per day.
  • Establish and maintain a positive atmosphere that ensures the highest level of team member engagement.
  • Consistently practice safe work habits, including the use of Personal Protection Equipment.
Requirements
  • At least three years of theme park merchandise leadership experience with no significant performance deficiencies within that period.
  • High School Diploma Required.
  • Availability that meets the business needs of the position, including ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and work independently.
  • Possession of a high level of problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Possession of a knowledge of computer programs and databases, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to push/pull/lift/carry 50 lbs or more on an occasional basis.
  • Willingness to comply with all grooming standards and SEA employment standards.
  • Ability to successfully complete all legal, company, and department training requirements.
