Bridgehead IT is a leading provider of IT solutions, committed to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of System Administrator III.

**Job Summary**

The System Administrator III is responsible for the advanced installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of client-server and storage systems. This role requires extensive experience in system administration, a strong understanding of server operating systems, hardware, and virtualization, as well as the ability to resolve complex technical issues.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Troubleshoot and Resolve Complex Issues**: Identify and resolve complex technical problems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system availability.
  • **Time and Work Tracking**: Accurately track time and work completed in a ticketing system, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal teams and clients.
  • **Customer and Vendor Interaction**: Effectively interact with customers and vendors to gather information and troubleshoot problems, providing exceptional customer service.
  • **Team Collaboration**: Communicate and work with other teams, both internal and external, to accomplish a broad spectrum of technical issues and processes.
  • **Documentation and Knowledge Sharing**: Document common issues and processes to contribute to the team's knowledge base, ensuring knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • **Windows Server Support**: Support and implement core Windows Server roles and features, such as Active Directory, remote desktop services, file and printer sharing, etc.
  • **Microsoft Cloud Technologies**: Support and implement Microsoft cloud technologies, including Azure, Exchange Online, Teams, and Microsoft 365.
  • **Backup and Disaster Recovery**: Monitor and manage backup and disaster recovery systems, ensuring business continuity and data integrity.
  • **Vendor Management**: Work with vendors and gather information from public sources to support 3rd party applications, ensuring seamless integration.
  • **Technical Escalation**: Serve as a point of escalation for lower-level technicians and higher difficulty tickets, providing expert technical guidance.
  • **Additional Responsibilities**: Perform other related duties as assigned, ensuring the success of the team and the company.

**Requirements**

  • **Education**: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • **Experience**: 5-7 years of experience in IT customer support, with knowledge of computer systems administration.
  • **Technical Skills**: Advanced knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as Office 365, VMWare, Hyper V, Azure, and AWS.
  • **Operating Systems**: Proficient with all Windows-based operating systems, SANs, Microsoft Exchange, file and print operations, DNS, SQL, Group Policy, and Active Directory.
  • **Ticketing Systems**: Experience working with ticketing systems to manage and resolve system-related issues.
  • **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • **Troubleshooting Skills**: Possesses advanced-level troubleshooting skills.
  • **Teamwork**: Ability to work independently and with a team, ensuring seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
