  • Assist in formulating and executing a comprehensive DevOps strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives.
  • Implement cloud infrastructure and services while ensuring compliance with best practices and standards.
  • Establish and enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery, testing, and deployment workflows.
  • Work in tandem with development teams to optimize applications for cloud environments.
  • Actively advocate for a DevOps culture throughout the Engineering and Product teams.
  • Deploy robust monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and system failures.
  • Manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for scalable application deployment and management.
  • Ensure the security of infrastructure and applications by implementing best practices, security controls, and compliance standards.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of infrastructure, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and operational excellence.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and performance promptly.
  • Carry out responsibilities in alignment with our values and operating principles, adhering to policy and applicable laws, with a commitment to continuous improvement and process excellence.

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
Required Knowledge/Skills:
  • Experience in building, deploying, monitoring, and scaling workloads in AWS.
  • Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, including creating and maintaining modules.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and creating pipelines to support the complete software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience in automating repetitive tasks to streamline day-to-day workflows.
  • Ability to communicate and document technical details effectively.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance standards.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Powershell, Bash, or other scripting languages.
  • Analytical skills to assess information and make logical recommendations.
  • Linux System Administration experience.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in a banking or highly regulated industry.
  • Experience collaborating with offshore resources in EMEA.
  • Familiarity with Spacelift or other Terraform Automation and Control tools.
  • Experience with New Relic or other SaaS monitoring platforms.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with CloudFlare.
  • Experience with Ansible or other configuration as code tools.
  • Knowledge of repository and artifact management.
  • Understanding of cloud security practices and compliance standards.
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.
