Job Title: Therapeutic Behavioral Support Specialist

At Red Oak Behavioral Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Therapeutic Behavioral Support Specialist will work primarily out of one or more of our partner school locations, serving as the clinical lead for developing the treatment plan and associated interventions for clients with identified behavior disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients with identified behavior disorders.
  • Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) and Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) to meet the individualized mental health needs of children, adolescents, and families.
  • Collaborate with school staff, social service providers, medical providers, and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Assist clients in restoring social and interpersonal skills through rehabilitation and support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and adhere to state, local, and organization standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, nursing, or a related human services field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in the behavioral health sector.
  • Valid Ohio Driver's License and liability auto insurance coverage.
  • Knowledge of child development and mental health issues, as well as proficiency in delivering evidence-based mental health interventions.
