Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a passion for working with children. The LVN will be responsible for providing medical care and support to students, as well as collaborating with teachers and other staff members to ensure the health and well-being of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care and support to students, including administering medications and performing basic medical procedures
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure the health and well-being of our students
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for students with special needs
  • Participate in health education and promotion activities for students and staff
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student health information
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, and graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing
  • One (1) year working as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in a clinic, medical, or student health facility
  • 2 Letters of Recommendation required
  • 48+ College Credits or Paraprofessional Certificate
  • Mandated Reporter Training- School Personnel Module
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of emergency first aid and CPR certification
  • Proper use and care of medical materials, supplies, and equipment
  • Principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of human injuries, diseases, and deformities
  • Educational and developmental needs of children
  • HIPPA, FERPA, and mandated reporting requirements
