Job Summary:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse will be responsible for providing safe and effective implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of care. This includes monitoring patient medication use, vital signs, and other physical signs and symptoms to support clients through the withdrawal phase of treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide observation, documentation, and record-keeping of client health status
  • Administer medications as prescribed by the physician
  • Monitor client vital signs and physical signs and symptoms
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families
Requirements:
  • Current LVN licensure in the State of California
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures
  • CPR certification
  • One year of experience in a substance abuse treatment setting (preferred)
