Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Precision Machinist to manage both manual and CNC operations at TARGET MACHINE INC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining and be capable of delivering high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Programming and Setup: Ability to program, set up, and operate both manual and CNC ProtoTRAK machines effectively.
  • Machining Operations: Utilize in-house machinery to manufacture precision parts, ensuring adherence to specifications.
  • Tolerance Management: Work with small components while maintaining tight tolerances.
  • Team Collaboration: Exhibit a strong ability to function within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented team environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate excellent organizational, planning, and documentation capabilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes accurately.
  • Measurement Tools: Proficient use of calipers, micrometers, and visual comparators to assess critical drawing dimensions.
  • Safety and Quality Compliance: Perform all duties in accordance with established safety and quality standards.
  • Maintenance: Clean and maintain manual machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a tidy work area to promote efficiency and safety.
  • Team Support: Be a collaborative team player, willing to assist with deburring and other miscellaneous tasks as required.
  • Experience Requirement: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in machining is essential.
