Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering demand generation and facilitating design-in initiatives at client locations, collaborating closely with business units that provide microcontrollers, microprocessors, and radar transceivers tailored for the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the integration and troubleshooting of 77GHz radar transceivers and radar processors within customer projects.
  • Leverage evaluation platforms, software, tools, and documentation to validate that solutions align with customer application specifications.
  • Deliver robust technical guidance during design-in processes, with a significant on-site presence.
  • Assist clients in assessing silicon and software functionalities.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of customer software and hardware.
  • Collaborate with customer product engineering and quality assurance teams to address product debugging and failure analysis.
  • Gather insights regarding the competitive landscape and contribute to the evaluation of product offerings to highlight device/system-level advantages.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams on project identification and client proposals.
  • Collect and relay intelligence about customer product strategies and relevant silicon needs to the appropriate product groups and technical teams.
  • Contribute to the creation of technical materials for both internal and customer-facing use, including Application Notes, Engineering Bulletins, and demonstrations. Participate in trade shows and technical society gatherings.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in automotive radar applications.
  • Experience with 77GHz technology is a plus.
  • Background in software development, systems engineering, or field application engineering.
  • Proficiency in general embedded programming using C.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB is advantageous.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel within the Midwest region.
  • Occasional international travel may be required.
