The Engineering Operations Manager will collaborate closely with the Director of Engineering to supervise the upkeep of the hotel's infrastructure and equipment. Key responsibilities include developing preventive maintenance strategies, ensuring a secure working environment, and engaging in the hotel's Safety Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing courteous and respectful service to guests
  • Managing the Engineering Department and ensuring Life Safety compliance

  • Formulating preventive maintenance strategies
  • Guaranteeing a secure work environment
  • Participating in the Safety Program
Specific Duties:
  • Encouraging team members to deliver exceptional service
  • Ensuring operational effectiveness and dependability
  • Supporting the hotel operations team
  • Selecting, mentoring, and leading Engineering personnel
  • Collaborating with development and construction teams
  • Overseeing building systems and maintenance tasks
  • Managing minor repairs throughout the property
  • Implementing the preventive maintenance strategy
  • Contributing to the hotel's culture and ambiance

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in building maintenance
  • Prior experience in hotel maintenance is essential
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Programming
  • Proficient in English
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs
