Job SummaryWe are seeking a part-time Patient Service Representative to support our Beverly Family Medicine practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling appointments, greeting patients, collecting co-payments, and assisting with pre-visit paperwork. They will also be responsible for fielding incoming telephone calls, monitoring patient flow, and providing general support to practice leadership and clinicians.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Greet patients, answer questions, and collect co-payments
- Assist with pre-visit paperwork and forms
- Field incoming telephone calls and triage appropriately
- Monitor patient waiting room activity and provide general support to practice leadership and clinicians
We are looking for a well-rounded customer service professional with strong communication skills and the ability to multitask. Previous experience in a community-based medical practice is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate on our electronic medical record system.
