Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a critical role in the operations of our community-based physician practices, providing administrative support and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality experience.

You will be responsible for scheduling appointments, obtaining prior authorizations, checking in patients, and completing forms and paperwork. You will also be the first point of contact for patients, answering their questions and providing general support to our clinicians and peers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments and obtain prior authorizations as needed
  • Check in patients, answer their questions, and assist with pre-visit paperwork
  • Complete forms and paperwork, and collect co-payments
  • Field incoming telephone calls and triage appropriately
  • Monitor patient flow and waiting room activity
  • Provide general support to practice leadership, clinicians, and peers
Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and customer-focused individual who has:

  • 2 years of experience working in a community-based medical practice
  • Epic experience preferred
