Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Service Representative to join our team in our Internal Medicine office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our medical team, ensuring that patients receive a high-quality experience from the moment they arrive at our office.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and is looking to join a dynamic and growing healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule appointments and obtain prior authorizations from insurance companies as needed
- Check-in patients, answer their questions, and assist with pre-visit paperwork and forms
- Complete forms, collect co-payments, and schedule follow-up appointments, tests, and procedures during check-out
- Field incoming telephone calls and triage appropriately
- Monitor patient flow and waiting room activity
- Provide general support to practice leadership, clinicians, and peers
- 2 years of experience working in a community-based medical practice preferred
- Epic experience preferred
