As a Credit Services Associate II at HD Supply, you will play a critical role in managing the Order Workflow process, ensuring prompt handling of orders under credit review for past due reasons. Your primary goal will be to communicate with customers to obtain payment needed, thereby releasing pending orders.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately and timely enter customer selections into the order processing system.
- Monitor and track customer orders in accordance with credit and collection standards to ensure on-time delivery.
- Launch outbound collection calls to customers with past due balances to collect and allow order releases.
- Submit credit limit increase requests to management to secure higher spend capacity and facilitate order releases for customers.
- Process large volumes of pending orders for review and release in the absence of the dedicated credit and collections team members.
- Monitor orders using system reports and communicate progress to management, proactively resolving discrepancies in data that may prevent accurate or timely order processing.
- Work in conjunction with the field, customers, and other internal teams to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner.
- High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
- Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
- Generally 2-5 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
Located in a comfortable indoor area, with most of the time spent sitting in a comfortable position and frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
