Job Overview:


The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for directing the strategy and market entry plans for significant product initiatives within the organization, emphasizing exclusive destinations and new ship introductions over the next several years.

This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders throughout the company, including senior management, to collect essential information regarding destination development and new ship constructions, ultimately leading to the formulation of a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with key milestones and deliverables.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with relevant internal Operations teams to develop a roadmap of forthcoming product initiatives, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy and market communication plan. Assume ownership of all product-specific information and messaging, staying informed about new product rollouts and launch timelines. This requires a thorough understanding of the product pipeline, including exclusive destinations, new ships, and innovative experiences. 20%
  • Oversee the integrated marketing strategy for all product milestones, including destination developments and new ship launches. This encompasses creating the communication strategy and framework for integrated campaigns across all relevant marketing channels. 20%

    • Collaborate with product development specialists from the operations team, including senior leadership from various departments, to craft a compelling narrative that can be transformed into a messaging brief for internal teams to develop marketing materials supporting product launches. Ensure consistent use of the company's distinctive assets across campaigns to strengthen brand recognition. 15%
    • Lead the creation of foundational assets for the marketing team, ensuring they serve as a starting point for channel-specific support. Develop comprehensive creative briefs considering the asset development for all channels, both owned and paid. Anticipate channel-specific needs to recommend optimal support and ensure all teams have access to key visuals and messages. 15%
    • Work with the creative agency to ensure all product communications align with the broader company brand strategy and enhance the existing national marketing plan. Collaborate with internal Creative Services to brief the team on key product moments requiring creative development across essential marketing disciplines. 15%
    • Formulate regional product support strategies as ships transition to new ports and markets. Analyze competition in those markets and collaborate with agencies to create an integrated plan that introduces new ship offerings to target audiences. Develop briefs to guide creative concepts, considering market objectives and desired consumer behaviors. Manage the creative development of assets for all channels. 15%
    • Engage with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, through strategic discussions and decisions. The Manager will contribute to enhancing the guest experience by providing consumer insights and category knowledge.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business
6+ years of experience in an advertising agency or managing one is preferred. Previous experience in brand or product management is essential.

Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with shifting priorities.

Proven capability to build and maintain collaborative partnerships across functions and departments.
Strong leadership skills, with experience managing direct reports and providing regular feedback on performance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong planning, risk management, and budget oversight abilities.
Capacity to present information clearly and confidently to senior leaders.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results under pressure in a high-visibility role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Solid understanding of digital platforms and applications (e.g., mobile, web, social media)
Knowledge of current and emerging trends in digital marketing and communication platforms.
Expertise in developing effective advertising campaigns.
Familiarity with media and creative analytics, with experience in performance analysis.
