We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn M Street DC. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, supervising front desk operations, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Service
- Provide warm and welcoming greetings to guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Register and assign guests to hotel rooms, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Compute bills, collect payments, and handle cash and credit transactions.
- Close out guest accounts at time of check-out, resolving any issues or concerns.
- Front Desk Operations
- Supervise front desk staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent guest service.
- Oversee front office operations in the absence of the Front Office Manager or Assistant General Manager.
- Perform bookkeeping activities, including balancing accounts and conducting audits.
- Leadership and Development
- Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support front desk staff, ensuring they meet brand standards and core values.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve guest service and front desk operations.
- Education
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience
- 1-3 years of related experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
The Front Desk Supervisor will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interacting with guests and staff on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
