Job Summary
The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks a highly qualified candidate for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include instructing hematology/oncology fellows, residents, and medical students in the field of sarcoma.
- Clinical responsibilities may include providing care to patients with sarcoma in an outpatient setting and as an attending on the inpatient service.
- Research or scholarship responsibilities may include developing and growing an independent research program relevant to sarcoma, with a focus on producing high-quality research leading to publications.
Requirements
- Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.
- Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology.
- Expertise is required in the specific area of sarcoma.
