Academic Clinician Position

We are seeking exceptional candidates for Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
About the RoleAs an academic clinician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, and contributing to the development of our hospital medicine program.
Responsibilities- Provide expert care to patients in the general medicine teaching services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and/or Penn Presbyterian Medical Center
- Mentor medical students and residents in a variety of settings, including lectures, small groups, and clinical rotations
- Contribute to the development of our hospital medicine program through quality improvement initiatives, research, and education
- Participate in teaching and mentoring advanced practice providers
- MD or equivalent degree
- Board certified or board eligible in General Internal Medicine
- Prior experience as faculty at other academic institutions in general medical practice, ideally in hospital medicine, at the Associate or Full Professor rank is strongly preferred
