Job Summary:
Duke Health is seeking a highly qualified, full-time, fellowship-trained cornea and external disease specialist to join the esteemed Foster Center for Ocular Immunology. As a member of the cornea and external disease faculty in the Department of Ophthalmology at Duke School of Medicine, the successful candidate will provide exceptional clinical and surgical care to patients suffering from ocular surface disease and complex corneal conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality clinical and surgical care to patients with ocular surface disease and complex corneal conditions.
- Participate in academic and research activities, including teaching cornea fellows and ophthalmology residents.
- Contribute to the development of clinical and research programs in cornea and ocular immunology.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited ophthalmology residency training program and certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology or eligibility.
- Completion of a fellowship in cornea and external disease with training in ocular immunology.
- Post-fellowship work experience required.
