Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX. This is a full-time position in New Braunfels, Texas, with a competitive salary and up to $15,000 sign-on bonus based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the scrub role during surgical procedures, demonstrating aseptic technique and setting up equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Pass instruments and equipment during procedures, pulling cases as needed and breaking down cases at the end of the procedure.
  • Set up the operating room and supplies for the day's schedule, available for call on an assigned scheduled basis as required by unit need.
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge and skills in the scrub role, necessary to provide assistance during surgical procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
