Position Title: Quality Control Lab Technician
Company: Ascend Elements
The Quality Control Lab Technician at Ascend Elements will be instrumental in performing analytical evaluations to verify the integrity of both incoming materials and final products. This role necessitates collaboration with various analytical instruments and contributes significantly to the overall quality management system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute analytical material characterization assessments utilizing ICP-OES, titrations, and additional analytical methodologies
- Gather and document samples for examination
- Interpret analytical results and communicate findings
- Adhere to testing protocols and methodologies
- Diagnose and resolve issues with laboratory equipment as necessary
- Ensure a tidy and safe laboratory setting
- Support waste and chemical handling processes
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in chemistry or a related discipline
- 1-2 years of experience in research and development or a chemical laboratory setting preferred
- Familiarity with chemical processes and analytical instrumentation
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Competence in MS Office applications
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Adherence to safety and quality standards
- Capability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
