Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our team at Catholic Health Initiatives. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing mammography studies, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining equipment and facilities to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography studies, including positioning patients, calibrating equipment, and producing and digitally archiving images
  • Prepare mammography suites and perform quality assurance tests
  • Maintain patient safety through attention to detail, equipment safety checks, and adherence to department policies
  • Provide patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test
  • Assist patients with basic patient care needs and coordinate patient flow and activities of the Mammography Department
  • Responsible for proper maintenance of equipment, accreditation, and Departmental Performance Improvement
Requirements
  • Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program from an accredited institution
  • Licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) with Texas Medical Board (TMB)
  • Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT(R)
  • BLS certification (through an approved AHA program)
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year experience as Radiographer
