Job Summary

As a Mammography Technologist at CHI St. Luke's Health-Memorial, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team in this dynamic and rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography studies, including positioning patients, calibrating equipment, and producing and digitally archiving images.
  • Document findings and maintain accurate records under the direction of the Medical Director and Director of Imaging Services.
  • Prepare Mammography Suites and perform quality assurance to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
  • Provide patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test.
  • Assist patients with basic patient care needs and coordinate patient flow and activities within the Mammography Department.
  • Maintain proficiency in ancillary areas of the department, including radiology, front desk, patient transport, and provide support when needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) with the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and BLS certification through an approved AHA program.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year experience as a Radiographer.
  • Alpha/numerical dexterity and handwriting skills.
  • Interpersonal skills for communication with patients, visitors, physicians, and other hospital personnel.
