About the Role:

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Mammography Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing mammography studies, positioning patients, calibrating equipment, and producing high-quality images.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mammography studies, including positioning patients, calibrating equipment, and producing high-quality images.
  • Prepare Mammography Suites and perform quality assurance tests.
  • Maintain patient safety through attention to detail, equipment safety checks, and adherence to department policies.
  • Provide patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test.
  • Assist patients with basic patient care needs and coordinate patient flow and the activities of the Mammography Department.
  • Responsible for proper maintenance of equipment, accreditation, and Departmental Performance Improvement.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) with Texas Medical Board (TMB).
  • Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT(R).
  • BLS certification (through an approved AHA program).

Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
