Key Responsibilities
  • Product Design and Development: Design and develop new products and product lines, including fixtures and processes, to support business growth and customer needs.
  • Research and Development: Conduct research on new materials, methods, and processes to improve product design and development.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Construct prototypes and verify design performance through testing and validation.
  • Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams to execute engineering and manufacturing document creation, database, and change control processes.
  • Documentation and Communication: Create, execute, and communicate engineering change orders and product release documentation, as well as provide support and documentation for product improvements and legacy products.
  • Process Improvement: Support engineering in refining and enhancing processes for improved accuracy and efficiency, and develop and execute engineering test plans.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering.
  • Experience: 3-5 years' experience designing products and assemblies, with experience designing products in a regulated industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency with CAD and solid modeling packages, preferably SolidWorks/AutoCAD, and strong oral and written communication skills.
