Supply Chain Operations Manager

Founded by Jimmy Sansone in 2015, the company has grown significantly, with a strong online presence and a network of 11 brick-and-mortar stores across the country. We sell to over 500 wholesale partners and offer a seamless customer experience through our website, serving customers in the United States and globally.
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in optimizing our operations, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience, and driving operational excellence. The successful candidate will oversee the cost and performance of our wholesale and direct-to-consumer shipments, focusing on reducing shipping costs while delivering a superior experience to all customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the optimization of merchandise flow through our Third-Party Distribution Center to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.
- Oversee the cost, performance, and timeliness of our wholesale and direct-to-consumer shipments, focusing on reducing overall shipping spend.
- Partner with the product team on inbound inventory receiving.
- Facilitate wholesale shipments, ensuring compliance with client routing guides.
- Be the point of contact for standard retail shipments to boutique retailers and major retailers like Dillard's, Stitch Fix, and Nordstrom.
- Set up Dillard's dropship program in a profitable and efficient manner.
- Manage and optimize returns.
- Accountable for meeting fulfillment and carrier KPIs, including fill rate, on-time shipping percentage, average click-to-ship time, open return units, in-transit time, costs, and more.
- Analyze and report large data sets for fulfillment and carrier KPIs, identifying trends for opportunities and anomalies.
- Lead the audit of shipping carrier invoices to find pricing errors or cost irregularities, including filing carrier claims.
- Direct the communication and education within the internal team on shipping specifications.
- Optimize and work within multiple systems, understanding system and data integration.
- Communicate effectively across cross-functional teams, including logistics, planning, customer service, merchandising, and production.
- Generate continuous cost-saving ideas, including optimizing outbound, inbound, and returns management.
- Forecast shipping volumes and costs using historical data and financial plans.
- Pilot new projects and initiatives to help move our wholesale and direct-to-consumer fulfillment strategy forward.
- 10 years of experience with 3PL fulfillment processes.
- Skilled in using spreadsheet apps: Excel, Google Sheets, Smartsheets.
- Experience in managing multiple projects at once with changing priorities.
- Strategic thinker who can thrive in an ambiguous, evolving environment.
