Core Responsibilities:
  • Represent the organization in negotiations with suppliers and in discussions regarding supplier policies.
  • Act as a key point of contact with suppliers to guarantee the quality and punctuality of material deliveries.
  • Manage personnel activities related to sales, procurement, distribution, and client support.
  • Prepare and oversee the annual budget, making necessary updates to monthly forecasts.
  • Ensure that materials and products are delivered on schedule and adhere to quality and cost standards.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands and maximize financial investments.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Compile weekly and monthly reports detailing merchandise expenses and market trends.
  • Supervise and mentor planning analysts.
  • Establish timelines for projects and the flow of materials.
  • Develop goals, policies, and procedures for various projects.
  • Communicate effectively with management, supervisors, and team members regarding planning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Production teams to ensure timely deliveries and address any related challenges.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in supply chain operations or planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing engineers or analysts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Google Suite.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Epicor.
  • Understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials) structure.
  • Knowledge of product release cycles and product lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and contract management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Epicor ERP software.
  • Advanced knowledge of product lifecycle management.
  • Proven track record of reducing costs and enhancing service quality.
