Food and Beverage Operations Manager

The Proud Bird, a renowned restaurant and event destination, seeks a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our banquet and event services team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage all aspects of special event operations, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional service standards.
- Provide leadership and training to banquet staff, fostering a positive and efficient team environment.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery.
- Create and manage employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for events, including nights and weekends.
- Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute various functions, including weddings, corporate events, social gatherings, and themed celebrations.
- Strong knowledge of Food and Beverage service procedures and a background in hospitality in a full-service, upscale high-volume private event environment.
- 3 years related experience as a Banquet Manager or similar role in an upscale, high-volume environment. Must have some special events experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong PC skills with a working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, and Outlook.
