Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Transdev. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure our customers receive safe and reliable transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine issues, including brake, suspension, and transmission problems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Ensure all work orders are completed accurately and efficiently, maintaining detailed records of maintenance work.
  • Participate in company ASE certification program to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL B driver's license with Air Brake and Passenger Endorsements within 6 months of hire.
  • 3+ years of verifiable professional diesel repair experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • ASE certifications preferred, with participation in company ASE certification program.
  • Subject to DOT drug testing.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $33.44.
  • ASE certification bonus of up to $0.25 per hour for each primary ASE certification, plus $0.20 per hour for Master Certification.
  • Company-paid ASE testing and training materials.
  • Monday - Friday schedule, 12:00 - 8:30 pm.
  • Consistent full-time, year-round work.
