Job Title: Software Development Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Expert to join our team at Integrated Solutions for Systems, Inc. (IS4S). As a key member of our digital engineering team, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative software solutions to our government, military, and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with management, customers, and stakeholders to identify end-user requirements and specifications
  • Work with a highly collaborative team of engineers to deliver software solutions using Agile and Scrum development methodologies
  • Develop technical documentation to guide the software baseline configuration
  • Develop and update new or legacy software applications in a system engineering framework
  • Conduct analysis of pipeline and containerization and throughput when needed
  • Develop and update operational mission analysis scenarios in AFSIM or other models
  • Compile and assess user feedback to improve software performance
  • Work all aspects of the software development life cycle from planning thru sustainment
  • Recommend new or added features/capabilities to existing software toolkits
  • Be proficient in software troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving new or existing software products
Requirements:
  • Strong desire to contribute to overall team success
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability and motivation to work with minimal direction
  • Ability to work closely with a small, agile development team
  • Knowledge in space systems related applications/services such as Command and Control (C2), Ground Resource Management (GRM), Flight Dynamics (e.g. OASYS), Mission Management (e.g. VMOC) and UX/UI or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in DoD weapons development or integration
  • Experience integrating 3rd-party tools with Cameo System Modeler
  • Prior military service in software development/satellite operations is a plus
