Software Development Engineer

At HX5 LLC, we are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting software development activities for defining, developing, testing, and fielding Operational Flight Program upgrades. You will also provide support in developing system performance requirements and software safety analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Support software development activities for defining, developing, testing, and fielding Operational Flight Program upgrades.
  • Provide support in developing system performance requirements.
  • Support software safety analysis and assess new and modified functionality of all systems for flight critical, flight essential, or safety critical.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Three (3) years of related experience.
  • Two (2) years of DoD experience in avionics, software, or test.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Project.
