This role requires a proactive and skilled individual with practical experience in maintenance operations.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Ensuring a safe, secure, and pleasant living environment for all residents, visitors, and staff.
- Possessing knowledge of relevant laws and regulations set forth by the EPA and OSHA.
- Monitoring the condition of the property and taking immediate action to rectify any unsafe situations.
- Planning and executing routine preventative maintenance on all necessary equipment.
- Conducting work area clean-up and safety-related tasks.
- Diagnosing and performing minor and routine repairs and maintenance.
- Ensuring all necessary repairs and services are completed efficiently.
- Inspecting and coordinating all required repairs and services.
- Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of the grounds, including raking, sweeping, and shoveling as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance within residential settings.
- HVAC certification is preferred.
- A valid Driver's License and automobile insurance coverage are required, as personal vehicle use may be necessary.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call duties as required.
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe operation and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as standing, bending, climbing, lifting up to 75 lbs, and reading maintenance forms and labels.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
