About the Role

At Apple Inc., we're seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to lead our Test Engineering team. As a key member of our organization, you'll be responsible for driving the development of frameworks, tools, and tests for our iconic operating systems: iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multi-functional team responsible for developing and maintaining testable code bases, supporting frameworks, and triaging results.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, project managers, and quality teams to ensure the highest quality possible in our operating systems.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve testing internally and ensure the scalability of our test engineering processes.
  • Foster innovation and drive cross-team collaboration to deliver high-quality software.
Requirements
  • Experience in leading a small team of engineers on building new technologies with a strong technical standing, and a focus on testability.
  • Experience in developing code in Objective-C or Swift to test API, SDK, or frameworks.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and a creative problem solver with an interest in developing high-quality software.
  • Ability to foster innovation on a team of engineers, driving cross-team collaboration and strong technical competencies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and/or visionOS.
  • Experience in driving development and deployment of continuous integration systems.
