Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and scrutinize financial records, statements, and various financial reports.
- Attain and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the financial reporting framework and general ledger.
- Develop and assess reports for business operations and budgeting.
- Prepare for audits, ensuring compliance with standard regulations.
- Process accounts payables accurately and promptly.
- Ensure timely and precise submission of the quarterly 5300 report.
- Review investment documentation and prepare monthly and quarterly investment reports in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Innovate processes to enhance financial efficiency.
- Guarantee the accuracy of financial statements in line with GAAP and adherence to internal policies.
- Analyze reports and present findings to the management team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounting.
- Solid understanding of GAAP principles.
- Familiarity with contemporary accounting software and reporting tools.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of accounting and finance processes within financial institutions.
- Eagerness to expand responsibilities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Experience with Fiserv and/or Wisdom is advantageous.
