Boston Public Schools is seeking an exceptional Physics Teacher to join our community of teachers, learners, and leaders. As a highly qualified and knowledgeable educator, you will be responsible for teaching Physics in an SEI setting and ensuring that all students meet their full potential.

Our ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree, a valid Massachusetts Teaching License in Physics, and either an SEI endorsement or dual certification in ESL. They will also demonstrate a passion for the subject matter, excellent communication skills, and the ability to meet the Standards of Effective Teaching established by the Boston Public Schools.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Physics in an SEI setting

• Meet the Standards of Effective Teaching established by the Boston Public Schools

• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

• Valid Massachusetts Teaching License in Physics

• SEI endorsement or dual certification in ESL

• Ability to meet the Standards of Effective Teaching established by the Boston Public Schools

• Current authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching in urban schools

• Fluency in one of the Boston Public Schools' official languages
