Customer Service Associate

This role involves managing the reception and preparation of orders, alongside the safe handling, loading, and delivery of products.
The selected candidate will also be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, operating tinting equipment, and assisting with scheduling, mixing, and color matching tasks as required.
LocationThis position is based at an Automotive Branch.

Key Responsibilities- Prepare and finalize orders for delivery or pickup according to established schedules (loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, shipping)
- Load and unload products from deliveries
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Assist in planning delivery schedules to enhance unit efficiency
- Provide assistance to customers in person and over the phone by identifying needs and recommending suitable products and services
- Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies and procedures
- Safely deliver products to customers in a timely manner
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with supervisors and colleagues
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment while optimizing space utilization
- Adhere to quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Ensure the stockroom is organized
- Follow inventory control procedures and assist with bi-annual inventory reviews
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
- Must be able to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must have at least one (1) year of experience in customer service, retail, or sales
- At least one (1) year of experience in a Sherwin-Williams Automotive Branch
- At least two (2) years of experience in customer service, retail, or sales
- Experience using material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers)
- High School diploma or GED
