2nd Shift: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Position Overview

This role necessitates access to information regulated under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must meet the criteria of a "U.S. person" as defined by ITAR and EAR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections, checks, and tests to ensure quality control in product manufacturing.
  • Interpret complex drawings, standards, procedures, and test data.
  • Document inspection outcomes and maintain the calibration system.

Typical Duties

  • Adhere to procedures, work instructions, and inspection guidelines as outlined in job orders.
  • Utilize CMM, calipers, micrometers, or templates for inspections.
  • Collaborate with production and inspection teams when discrepancies are identified.
  • Record inspection results using First Article Report AS9102, Dimensional Report, or written documentation in job orders.
  • Issue certificates of conformance.
  • Ensure maintenance of CMMs and inspection tools, including inspection stamps.
  • Oversee calibration of measuring tools and coordinate external calibration services.
  • Update and manage the Master Calibration List.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in PC applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand geometrical tolerances.
  • Experience with calipers, micrometers, and templates.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of calibration processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with CMM inspection and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Understanding of ISO9001:2000 standards.
  • Experience in the aerospace, medical, or automotive sectors.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years in a quality assurance role.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Capability to sit, walk, and stand as required.
  • Ability to lift in accordance with safety guidelines.
