Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as Quality Assurance Inspectors. This role is essential for maintaining our high standards of quality and ensuring the success of our operations.

Compensation

Pay Rate: $20-22 per hour

Shift Schedule

2nd Shift: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Employment Status

This is a temporary assignment expected to last over 3 months.

Job Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Inspector will be responsible for:

  • Conducting inspections, checks, and tests to ensure product quality.
  • Interpreting complex drawings, standards, and test data.
  • Documenting inspection results and managing the calibration system.

Typical Duties Include:

  • Adhering to procedures and inspection instructions outlined in job orders.
  • Utilizing CMM, calipers, micrometers, and templates for inspections.
  • Collaborating with production and purchasing teams when parts are out of tolerance.
  • Documenting inspection outcomes using various reporting formats.
  • Issuing certificates of conformance as required.
  • Maintaining inspection tools and equipment in optimal condition.
  • Coordinating calibration activities for measurement tools.
  • Updating and managing the Master Calibration List.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand geometrical tolerances.
  • Experience with calipers, micrometers, and templates.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of calibration processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with CMM inspection and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Experience with ISO9001:2000 standards.
  • Background in the aerospace, medical, or automotive industries.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years in a quality-related role.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Capable of sitting, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift in accordance with safety guidelines.
