Job Summary

This is a key role within Universal Dynamics Inc, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and order processing support. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for customers, handling a high volume of calls and ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Order Processing: Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all necessary information is obtained and that orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including Engineering, Technical Support, Production, Accounting, Sales, and Shipping, to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer orders.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including order entry work instructions and processes.
  • Quote Management: Quote prices, credit terms, and other bid specifications for machines and systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, using automated systems to ensure efficient and effective management.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years directly related experience in a manufacturing, parts, automotive, or purchasing industry.
  • Skills: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
