Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional service to our guests at Golden Corral. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets guests as they enter the restaurant and offers a sincere, personal invitation to return as they leave.
  • Offers assistance to guests who may need help, including seating guests at peak times.
  • Processes internet and phone food orders for curbside pickup.
  • Processes To-Go orders for guests who come into select their own food from the buffet.
  • Friendly and courteous on the phone.
  • Handles payments accurately.
  • Knows and follows position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery.
  • Knows what is on buffet for the day and has a full knowledge of menu and prices.
Requirements
  • Maintains organization and cleanliness at the vestibule, host/cashier station and surrounding areas.
  • May help ensure the buffet is set up properly and labels are correct. Cleans all buffets and surrounding areas.
  • Assists the Buffet Attendant when necessary.
  • Follows local health department laws.
  • Performs duty roster and ensures cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met.
Working Conditions

This position requires standing and walking 3 to 4 hours without a rest break. Regular, moderate (1-35 lbs.) lifting and carrying; bending and reaching is required. Work environment requires the use of tools such as cash register, drink dispenser and glasses and a forceful grip is required for the use of these tools. Work setting is within the restaurant.
