About the Role

The University of Virginia's Darden School of Business seeks a skilled Content Strategist to join its Communication & Marketing team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that showcases the school's academic excellence, research, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a content calendar that aligns with the school's marketing goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and administrators to identify and develop compelling stories that highlight the school's strengths and achievements.
  • Write and edit engaging content for various digital platforms, including the school's website, social media, and email newsletters.
  • Design and implement a social media strategy that increases engagement and followers.
  • Monitor and analyze website analytics and social media metrics to inform content decisions and optimize performance.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and implement a content marketing plan that supports the school's brand and marketing goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing and social media.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in content marketing, social media, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
