Job Responsibilities

The Sales Representative/Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Assisting Account Managers and Sales Associates with customer accounts
  • Communicating with customers and principals via various channels
  • Entering customer orders and change orders into the business system
  • Monitoring shipment schedules and providing updates to customers and Sales Team members
  • Ensuring timely submission of order-related documentation
  • Reviewing and taking corrective action on commission reconciliation and system-related issues
  • Securing and maintaining Export Compliance documentation
  • Maintaining customer account information in the business system
  • Monitoring and updating Sales Team on customer service items
  • Creating and delivering parts quotes to customers
  • Assisting customers with selecting basic products
  • Following up with customers on open quotes
  • Coordinating customer and employee meetings
  • Administering and distributing sales reports
  • Providing suggestions for process improvements
  • Performing general administration tasks for the Sales Team

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An Associate's Degree or higher in a business or technical field
  • 1-3 years of office administrative experience
  • Direct experience in sales and customer service
  • Knowledge of office administrative procedures and standard office equipment
