Position Overview

Flexible Work Schedules Available

The Language Pathologist will report directly to the Administrator, Executive Director, or Patient Care Manager. This role involves delivering therapeutic services to patients experiencing speech and language challenges. The Home Therapy Program is conducted under the guidance of the attending physician, with active involvement from family members, nursing staff, or other responsible individuals as needed.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Must hold a valid license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR Certification is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Language Pathologist in a multidisciplinary environment is essential.
  • Familiarity with speech therapy principles and methodologies suitable for patients with terminal illnesses.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport with patients and their families.
  • Willingness to travel daily as required.
