Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Mid-Michigan Area Public Schools Consortium. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in students.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication and swallowing needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' communication and swallowing development
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students, including individual and group therapy sessions
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and provide recommendations for continued support

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • State certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with students with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
