Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced A&P Mechanics to join our team. As an A&P Mechanic at American Flyers, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance tasks on our aircraft fleet. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft and maintaining the highest level of safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspections: Conduct 100hr, 50hr, and Annual inspections on Cessna 172 and Piper Seminole aircraft.
  • Scheduled and Unscheduled Maintenance: Perform daily maintenance tasks, including routine checks and repairs.
  • Airworthiness Directives: Implement and comply with airworthiness directives to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
  • Sheet Metal Repairs and Alterations: Perform major and minor sheet metal repairs and alterations.
  • ADS-B Installations and Repair: Install and repair ADS-B systems on our aircraft fleet.
  • Altimeter/Static and Transponder Testing: Conduct testing and troubleshooting of altimeter, static, and transponder systems.
  • Power-Plant Troubleshooting, Maintenance, and Engine Changes: Diagnose and repair power-plant issues, including engine changes.
  • Aircraft Painting: Perform interior and exterior painting of aircraft.
  • Interior Installations: Install interior components, including seats and avionics systems.
  • Electrical Troubleshooting/Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems on our aircraft fleet.
  • Single and Multi-Engine Aircraft Maintenance: Perform routine and complex maintenance tasks on single and multi-engine aircraft.
  • Garmin G1000 Avionics Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Maintain and troubleshoot Garmin G1000 avionics systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience in A&P Mechanics with a strong background in aircraft maintenance.
  • Knowledge of airworthiness directives and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
