Job Title: Field Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Engineer to join our team at The Middlesex Corporation. As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of complex multimillion-dollar fast-track, heavy-civil, highway, and bridge projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of project management plans, including comprehensive CPM schedules and resource allocation.
  • Participate in the strategic development of project budgets, manpower, equipment, and material resource plans.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and safe project execution, including the management of subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Track and verify project production, cost coding, and labor, equipment, and material quantities.
  • Prepare and submit accurate project cost reporting, revenue, and cash flow projections.
  • Assist in the maintenance of project recordkeeping and correspondence functions, including daily reports, photographs, and requests for information.
  • Participate in project daily data entry and review cost reports with jobsite management.
Qualifications:
  • Four-year engineering or construction management degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.
  • Preferred 2+ years' construction field experience on heavy civil or infrastructure-related projects.
  • Proficient computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and BlueBeam.
  • Preferred experience utilizing HCSS HeavyJob, Vista, CAD, and P6.
  • Ability to freely access all parts of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments.
  • Valid Driver's License.
