Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Paraeducator to join our team at the NASHUA SCHOOL DISTRICT. As an English Language Learner Support Specialist, you will work closely with classroom teachers to implement and reinforce instructional curricula, assist with testing, and provide input on student performance.

About the Role:

  • Assist classroom teachers in implementing instructional curricula and reinforcing learning concepts
  • Help prepare and administer tests, quizzes, and other assessments
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to teachers on student performance
  • Support students with language barriers, helping them to access educational resources and services

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Title 1 Schools require Highly Qualified Status, including an Associate's Degree or equivalent two years of college, Bachelor degree, or Para-educator II certification from the NH Dept of Education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient and empathetic approach to working with students
