SCOPE:
We are seeking a dynamic candidate who excels in developing and implementing a results-driven marketing strategy aimed at boosting awareness for multiple winery locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating innovative marketing content for daily operations across various channels. This role requires a thought leader in Marketing who can effectively manage the Digital Marketing Manager and collaborate closely with the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), Wholesale, and Brand Marketing teams. A strong appreciation for wine and a commitment to educating customers about our offerings are essential.
ROLE AND EXPECTATIONS:
Leadership and Strategy
- Spearhead strategic initiatives in e-commerce to enhance revenue through DTC sales channels.
- Exhibit exceptional project management skills, adept at guiding multiple projects from conception to execution while prioritizing effectively.
- Collaborate with the Brand Marketing team to create integrated marketing plans that drive customer discovery, interest, engagement, and retention across our channels.
Technical and Analytical
- Design, implement, and oversee A/B testing optimization strategies across advertising assets, landing pages, targeting, media tactics, and emerging media channels to achieve direct profitable growth.
- Analyze data to uncover opportunities for revenue enhancement across all DTC and marketing channels.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape, market opportunities, and customer demographics, focusing on customer and member acquisition as key performance indicators.
Market and Customer Focus:
- Identify and cultivate strong partnership opportunities within the region and beyond to elevate market presence.
- Enhance customer experiences in our tasting rooms.
- Serve as the PR liaison, identifying media opportunities and managing general public relations efforts.
- Oversee the management of social media profiles, collaborating with the Brand Marketing team for support.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of managerial marketing experience, particularly within a DTC e-commerce environment, preferably in the wine, hospitality, or lifestyle sectors.
- Proven leadership capabilities with at least 3 years of supervisory experience, including staff development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, creative, and organizational skills, demonstrating the ability to make timely and sound business decisions.
- A solid foundation in marketing, business, and financial acumen to manage brands within a strategic framework.
- Effective at fostering cross-functional relationships across the DTC team.
- Proficient in e-commerce and content creation tools, including email marketing platforms and project management software.
